Ahamdinejad: New World to be Built Through Collective Collaboration

Tehran, April 29 – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that building of a new world requires collective collaboration of all people round the globe.

President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Ralph E. Gonsalves in Tehran.

“We seek a new type of world in which all enjoy equal rights, welfare and development,” said the Iranian president.

According to the Information Bureau of the presidential office, during the meeting, President Ahmadinejad said the contemporary world is full of discrimination, lies, pressure, conflicts and poverty.

It is incumbent upon all people across the world to collaborate in building a new world based on independence, brotherhood, peace and security, he said.

certain indisviduals have divided the world in order to reap the benefits more than others, he said, adding that the era of seeking more incentives and rights at the United Nations and the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is over because it is not fair that a small minority governs the world and the remaining majority suffers from poverty and hardship.

Referring to the current friendly ties between Iran and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, he said the two sides should cooperate to attain more development and bolster their ties at international level.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to help bolster and develop such bilateral ties, he said.

The visiting premier of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, for his part, briefed President Ahmadinejad on the latest developments in his country, region as well as the globe and described the outcome of his negotiations with Iranian officials as positive.

Given Iran’s excellent geo-political and strategic position in the region and the world, he called for further consolidation of ties and relations between the two countries to meet the two sides’ interests.

UK Religious Leader Denounces Israel for Vicious, Indigeneous Idea

Tehran, March 6 – Rabbi Ahron Cohen, leader of Britain’s Jewish Community, Neturei Karta, denounced Israel for holding vicious, indigenous perception against Palestinians.

He told IRNA on the sidelines of `International Conference in Support of Palestine, the Symbol of Resistance, Gaza, the Victim of crime,? that Zionism is different from Judaism.

He denounced Israeli violence against Palestinians and said that occupation of the Palestinian territory runs counter to the International Law and that religion does not allow bloodshed of innocent people what Israel is doing every day.

He said that religion is Godly, compassionate way of life and has nothing to do with the Israeli regime which holds vicious indigenous perception against Palestinians.

“Israel should give up just like the South African apartheid regime.”

He said that the Jewish religious leaders pray for the possibly peaceful dismantling of the Zionist regime.

Jalili: US, Western Countries Quite Unaware of Realities in Region

Tehran, March 6 – Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili held separate talks with the speakers of Lebanese Parliament and Afghan Senate on the issue of Palestine and regional developments.

The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 4th International Conference for Support for Palestine, the Model of Resistance, and Gaza the Victim of War Crimes which began in the Iranian capital on March 4 in Tehran.

In his meeting with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Jalili said “Lebanon’s Islamic resistance is regarded as an auspicious sapling which grew and spread its roots under hard conditions. It has now turned into a strong tree in the entire region and disrupted all political and military calculations of the Zionist regime and its westerns allies.”

“Since the new US president came to office with the motto of change, we should wait and see future political developments in the region in order to judge his claim,” Jalili said.

In a another meeting with Afghan Speaker of the Senate (House of the Elders) Sibghatullah Mojaddedi, Jalili said the US and the western countries do not know how to deal with the Afghan issues due to their lack of knowledge and understanding of the existing realities in that region.

Afghanistan is a country with courageous and zealous people who never yield to colonialism, he said.

“If they had dispatched tractors instead of tanks to Afghanistan, the country?s situation would have improved,” he underlined.

Mojaddedi, for his part, thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support for Afghan people during war and post war eras and said existing ties between the two nations are deep rooted and brotherly.

Meanwhile Palestinian official responsible for Foreign Relations of Political Department of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine thanked Iran for organizing Conference in Support of Palestine.

“We practically need such conferences to support the Palestinian cause,” Abu Khalil told IRNA on the sidelines conference. “We thank Iran for its overwhelming support for the cause of Palestine.”

Asked to comment on an Arab leader?s statement calling on Iran to stand aside from the issue of Palestine, he said that the Arab leaders have stood idle over the past 60 years and now that Iran supports Palestine, they say Palestine is an Arab issue.

He said that the Arab leaders have no courage to say no to Israel.

Ahmadinejad: No Limit for Tehran-Bagdhad Cooperation Expansion

Tehran, Feb 28 President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Friday that Tehran considers no limit for expansion of cooperation with Baghdad.

Addressing Iranian and Iraqi senior officials? consultation meeting, which started immediately after official welcoming of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, President Ahmadinejad said, “Today, Iraqi nation takes important steps one after another for guaranteeing security and progress.”

He said expansion of cooperation among regional states in different sectors, economic domain in particular, is of prime importance regarding ongoing global conditions.

“Quadrilateral cooperation among Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Syria is of extreme significance and basic pillar of sustainable security and promotion of fraternity,” added Ahmadinejad.

The Iranian and Iraqi presidents in the meeting underlined all-out expansion of mutual cooperation and relations, saying there are proper grounds available for cooperation in the fields of politics, culture, military, security, higher education, energy, commerce, housing and transportation.

Talabani said political, security, military and cultural relations and cooperation between Iran and Iraq should be upgraded to the highest possible level.

“There is no impediment on the way of expansion of bilateral ties,” said Talabani, adding that there are facilities and potential for maximum expansion of Tehran-Baghdad relations in line with interests of their nations.
